D+D’s wedding was a perfect reflection of their vision: timeless, intimate, and elegant. From the very beginning, they knew they wanted their special day to feel classic yet personal, with every detail thoughtfully curated. D’s love for the color black played a central role in the design, making it the primary hue in their color palette, complemented by luxurious gold accents. The floral arrangements were kept simple and refined, featuring an abundance of white blooms paired with lush greenery, adding a fresh and natural feel to the decor. Gold touches were woven throughout the space, enhancing the overall elegance and creating a sophisticated atmosphere. The celebration was filled with heartfelt moments, laughter, and dancing, making it a truly unforgettable day. It was an honor to bring D+D’s vision to life, creating a wedding that was as timeless and beautiful as their love for one another.
The day began with D+D preparing for their wedding at their childhood homes. Surrounded by their parents and closest friends, they shared intimate moments as they got ready for one of the happiest days of their lives.
D+D’s ceremony was held at Saint Paul on the Lake Catholic Church, a stunning French Gothic-style church situated across from the picturesque Lake Saint Clair. It was an incredibly special moment, made even more meaningful by the fact that the bride’s cousin, a Priest, officiated the ceremony, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to the day.
After the ceremony, D+D took beautiful bridal portraits at the church before heading to the venue, Dearborn Country Club, for more stunning photos. The bridal party’s energy and excitement brought an extra layer of fun to the photoshoot, making the experience even more memorable.
D+D are both passionate about cigars and wanted to offer their guests a unique experience, something beyond the traditional wedding favor. To tie into the theme, we had custom matches created, and set up a cigar bar where guests could enjoy cigars during cocktail hour and throughout the event.
The reception was a beautiful celebration of love and joy. The venue was transformed with elegant floral arrangements, soft lighting, and thoughtful decor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Guests enjoyed delicious food, lively music, and heartfelt toasts, making for a night filled with laughter and dancing. The energy in the room was contagious, as everyone celebrated D+D’s new journey together, creating unforgettable memories that will be cherished for years to come.
